SCHOOL HOUSE SYSTEM

At Hodnet we have a school House system. All children are placed into one of our four house teams. Each House has a House Captain and a Vice Captain who are elected during the Autumn term following a democratic process. The whole school involved in the election process and all class 6 have the option to vote. The captains work closely with our Sports Captains to encourage our school community to work together as a team. Each week we have a winning house team as the children earn house points though their behaviour, attitude and learning. We celebrate this success in our weekly achievement assembly.

Every year the children play to earn points in our Sports Day, these points are collected together and the annual sports winner is announced. The trophy is then decorated in the appropriate House colours for the following academic year.
