Our latest news ....
Due to current national restrictions, our school is open only to children of critical workers and to vulnerable learners. If you think your child might be eligible for a place, please contact Mrs Ceri Williams, Acting Headteacher, on head@hodnet.shropshire.sch.uk.
All of our pupils are learning remotely using the platforms of Tapestry (Class R) and Seesaw (Classes 1-6). The teachers and TAs set, assess and respond to work daily. Please contact them via the platform with any queries. Please also refer to our Remote Learning Contingency Plan (see below) for more information.
We are here to support you so please keep in touch. Send shout-outs to be included in our remote assemblies and keep us informed of all your news. Stay safe and take care.

All of our previous arrangements; staggered starts and ends of day, separate entrances and exits for different class cohorts and the class bubbles will continue as in the autumn term. RAF Shawbury - Sensory Garden project
We are very thankful tot the volunteers from squadron 705 who gave up their time to support our sensory garden make over project. They worked hard tidying, digging, painting, planting and generally giving our garden and sensory area some much needed TLC. We are looking forward to spending time in it now it is much more inviting. We are also thankful to them for bringing the helicopter to land on our school field and giving pupils the opportunity to climb on board! Amazing! This was part of our off timetable Environment Week. The Eco-Warriors also received a talk from the RAF team about the new helicopters and their noise pollution reducing features.
